The final Gaza truce agreement is presented by Qatar; in phase one, Hamas may free 33 Israeli hostages.

33 captives would be released in the first phase of the Israel-Hamas conflict. Children, women, especially female troops, males over 50, and those who are ill or injured are among them.

Qatari mediators have sent Israel and Hamas a draft proposal for an agreement to halt the fighting in Gaza and exchange hostages for Palestinian prisoners as a first step towards an end to the 15-month-old war.

With just a week to go before U.S. President-elect Donald Trump takes over from President Joe Biden, officials said a breakthrough had been achieved in talks in Doha and agreement could be near.

Children, women, especially female troops, males over 50, and those who are ill or injured are among them.

According to an Israeli official who briefed media, these are the draft's key points. Hamas has not provided any information.

RETURN TO HOSTAGE
Thirty-three hostages would be released in the first phase. Children, women, especially female troops, males over 50, and those who are ill or injured are among them. Although Israel has not received official confirmation from Hamas, it believes the majority are still alive.
Negotiations for a second stage, in which the corpses of the dead hostages would be returned and the remaining living hostages—male troops and males of military age—would be released, would begin on the sixteenth day after the arrangement went into force, if the first stage goes according to plan.

TROOP WITHDRAWAL
Israeli forces would stay in the border zone to protect Israeli border towns and villages during the phased pullout. Furthermore, Israel would withdraw from portions of the Philadelphi corridor, which runs along Gaza's southern border, following the initial days of the agreement.

Residents of North Gaza who are unarmed would be permitted to return, but there would be a system in place to make sure no weapons are sent there. Israeli forces will leave the Netzarim corridor in central Gaza.Palestinian terrorists found guilty of murder or homicide would also be freed, albeit the exact number would depend on how many hostages were still alive. The West Bank would not receive the convicts. There would be no release of Hamas fighters involved in the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel.

MORE ASSISTANCE
In the Gaza Strip, where the UN and other international organizations warn that the population is facing a serious humanitarian crisis, there would be a major increase in humanitarian aid.

Although Israel permits aid to enter the enclave, there have been disagreements on how much of it actually reaches those in need, and gang thievery is becoming a bigger issue.
