Following a crash landing at Toronto Airport, startling footage from aboard a Delta Airlines aircraft becomes viral.



On social media, a number of videos showing passengers getting off the Delta Airlines aircraft that crashed during landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport and landed upside down on the snowy ground have gone viral. In the videos, terrified passengers are seen leaving the airplane with the help of the ground crew.

After a Delta Airlines plane crashed and landed upside down on the icy ground at the Toronto airport, at least 18 people were hurt, three of them were badly injured: a lady in her 40s, a guy in his 60s, and a kid. There have been no known casualties in the Delta Airlines disaster.

People are seen staggering away from the CRJ-900 airliner, lying belly-up on the tarmac, protecting their faces from the snow and high gusts, according to dramatic social media photos and videos.

The Endeavor Air flight 4819 with 76 passengers and four crew was landing in the afternoon in Canada's biggest metropolis, having flown from Minneapolis in the US state of Minnesota, the airline said in a statement.
The airlines has not provided any explanation of the cause of the Delta Airlines plane crash, or how the plane ended up on its back with its wings clipped.

The firefighters trying to put out the fires surrounding the Delta Airlines plane disaster were also captured on viral footage.

Facebook user John Nelson, who stated he was a passenger on the flight, shared a video from the tarmac seeing the inverted aircraft and narrated:
According to a different traveler, there was no sign of anything out of the ordinary before to the plane's crash landing. He told a news network, "We hit the ground, and we were sideways, and then we were upside down."

I was able to simply unbuckle, tumble, and push myself to the floor. He added, "Some people were able to descend on their own, while others were kind of hanging and needed assistance."

As authorities look into the Delta Airlines plane crash event, two runways at the Toronto airport will be closed.
