PM Modi France visit Live: Following his speech at the opening of the AI Action Summit in Paris, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron landed at Marseille. The prominent AI summit was attended by UN leader Antonio Guterres, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and EU Commission President Urusula Von Der Leyen.
In his speech, Prime Minister Modi urged funding for retraining and skill development in preparation for a future driven by artificial intelligence (AI). Additionally, he claimed that, particularly in the Global South, governance is about making sure that everyone has access.
After PM Modi showed interest, France confirmed that India would host the next AI meeting. India also promised France that it will fully assist its AI ambitions.
The prime minister also encouraged commercial collaborations between France and India during the India-France CEOS Forum in Paris.
Modi urged companies to enter the Indian market while highlighting advancements in infrastructure, manufacturing, and output in a number of sectors as the nation strives to achieve "Viksit Bharat" by 2047.

IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that India plans to develop a domestic AI model. Modi also addressed the India-France CEOs Forum where he encouraged businesses to enter the Indian market and highlighted the country's progress on several fronts. On Wednesday, Modi will visit Mazargues War Cemetery, maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission in Marseille, to pay tribute to the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers in World war 1.
PM Modi praised the citizens of Marseille for their assistance in Veer Savarkar's escape from British custody after arriving in the city.

Together, we're providing solutions to global problems," Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated during his visit to France, which was streamed live. He also said that India and France are not only connected by democratic values.
