What's going on on Day 91 of the Iran War as the US and Iran approach a 60-day agreement

A 60-day Memorandum of Understanding between the US and Iran aims to reopen the Hormuz Strait, with discussions over nuclear and other issues scheduled.

President Donald Trump of the United States has raised hopes for a diplomatic breakthrough by announcing that the naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz will be eased and that he will make a final decision on a possible deal with Iran after meeting with his national security team on Friday.

There is still a great deal of mistrust between the two parties, though. As negotiations continue, Iran's lead negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, stated that Tehran would evaluate any agreement based on deeds rather than words.

The draft framework has recently been changed and has not yet been finalized or formally authorized, according to Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency, adding to the uncertainty.
What we know is as follows:

In Iran
More international ships pass through Hormuz: According to nautical data, there have been more non-Iranian-affiliated ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz recently. Despite persistent tensions and impediments to Gulf trade, analysts believe ships wearing the flags of South Korea, Norway, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates have resumed passing through the vital waterway.
Iran uranium stockpile: According to Rafael Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Kazakhstan has indicated that it is prepared to keep Iran's near-weapons-grade enriched uranium as part of a possible US-Iran deal. Grossi told the Financial Times that Tehran and Washington might find a safe site in Kazakhstan's current IAEA-backed uranium bank.

Diplomacy in war:
Trump lays out requirements for a possible deal with Iran: According to Trump, Washington would lift its naval blockade of Iranian ports in exchange for Iran agreeing to never acquire a nuclear weapon, reopening the Strait of Hormuz to unrestricted shipping without tolls, removing any remaining naval mines, and working with the US and the IAEA to recover and destroy buried enriched uranium stockpiles. In order to decide on the potential deal, Trump stated he will convene with his national security team in the White House Situation Room.

Iran's lead negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, stated that Tehran would evaluate any agreement with the United States based on deeds rather than words. Ghalibaf declared that Iran would not act unless Washington did.
Talks between Israel and Lebanon: As Beirut demands a halt to Israel's intensifying attacks, military delegations from Israel and Lebanon will meet at the Pentagon on Friday. As strikes escalated throughout the region, Israel ordered the evacuation of seven communities in southern Lebanon, resulting in more displacement.
