Twitter’s iconic bird logo sold for over $35,000 at auction

Months after Elon Musk rebranded Twitter to X, the iconic blue bird logo that once adorned the company's San Francisco headquarters went up for auction and sold for $34,375. Rare collectibles seller RR Auction confirmed the sale of the 254 kg sign, which measured 12 feet by 9 feet, but it did not reveal who bought it.

Musk has previously put a variety of Twitter items up for auction, such as kitchenware and office furnishings.

A vintage Apple-1 computer sold for $375,000, an Apple check signed by Steve Jobs in 1976 brought $112,054, and a sealed first-generation iPhone (4GB) brought $87,514, among other tech artifacts at the same auction.

The 254 kg, 12-by-9-foot sign was reported to have been sold by RR Auction, a company that specializes in unusual artifacts, but the buyer's identity was not revealed.
